The Sims 4 Career: Corporate Gardener Custom Career

All living organisms must be nurtured to survive, plants are no exception. Only those adept in the art of gardening can give plants their best chance, and SimGreen Corp is looking for the best. Corporate gardeners are responsible for forming and maintaining partnerships with local businesses and farms across the country, all for the sake of maximizing profits for both SimGreen Corp and partners, while bringing the most cost efficient and quality produce to the consumers. The hours are long and the demands are high, but if you succeed, the financial security is great.

This a 1-track, 10 level career that focuses on the business side of gardening. The first five levels are standard gardening jobs, but from six and on, the jobs become much more business oriented and require development of the Charisma skill. I had been working on this career months before seasons was released with a gardening career of its own, but this one is different in that it focuses less on floral arrangement, and more on gardening matters related to big business cooperations. The administrative side of gardening if you will. Therefore, I decided to keep it and let it be an alternative option for aspiring gardener sims.

Also, like my Jungle Adventurer Career, this career will offer on the job training in gardening (levels 1-10) and charisma (6-10), allowing you to build experience in those skills after every shift, just like real life! You will also recieve the Super Green Thumb trait after reaching level 10 of the career, so that you’ll always be at your best when gardening.

Levels:

Water Sprinkler: Happy, 0.2 pto, $15/hr, M-F, 8am-3pm
Water is the most important resource plants need to survive, but they can’t get it on their own. That’s where you come in. Who needs a lawn sprinkler when you can have the real thing?

Weed Puller: Happy, 0.2 pto, $25/hr, M-F, 8am-3pm
Weeds are the pesky invaders that send any gardener into a fit. Pulling them is a lot of manual labor, but the plants will look prettier than ever once it’s done, making it totally worth it.

Seed Planter: Happy, 0.2 pto, $35/hr, M-F, 8am-3pm
Protecting earth-made nature is important, but preserving it for many years to come is a necessity. That of course means more plants must be born, and that’s only possible by planting new seeds. Marvel in the growth of life.

Fertilizer Junkie: Happy, 0.2 pto, $50/hr, M-F, 8am-3pm
Plants will grow just fine with water and sun, but they’ll grow exceptionally well with some extra nutrients. Fertilizing is an important part of the process to making plants their best, so this smelly job will surely pay off in the end.

Crop Harvester: Happy, 0.2 pto, $75/hr, M-F, 8am-3pm
It’s time to reap the rewards of your hard work and harvest the crops for market distribution.Rise the corporate ladder and find great success as SimGreen Corp’s gardening representative.

Health Inspector: Happy, 0.25 pto, $150/hr, W-S, 8am-4pm
The environment a plant grows up in will surely affect its quality and at SimGreen Corp, we value the quality of our produce above all else. Therefore, you’ll carry out weekly inspections at all partner facilities, to ensure this quality remains intact and that our consumers receive only the freshest of produce.

Produce Appraiser: Happy, 0.25 pto, $200/hr, S-Th, 8am-4pm
Only the best and freshest of produce will be accepted for delivery to our selling facilities and only gardeners of your level can determine what makes the cut. Analyze the multitude of crops and find the diamonds in the rough.

Sales Rep: Happy, 0.25 pto, $250/hr, MWFS, 9am-5pm
Sales isn’t an easy job, but someone’s got to do it. It’s your job to scout and recruit prospective new partners to join the company and expand the business. It’s a difficult job, but if you can succeed, the financial compensation will surely be worth it.

Market Manager: Happy, 0.3 pto, $300/hr, MTThF, 9am-5pm
You’ve done great work out in the field, and now you get to do great work in the office too. You are now responsible for the management of several facilities and partner farms and keeping production at a maximum, such that the market continues to boom. You’ll make weekly visits on-site to ensure everything is going smoothly. A machine only runs as well as its parts, so you must keep them well-maintained.

SimGreen Corp CEO: Happy, 0.3 pto, $350/hr, MWF, 9am-5pm
You started at the bottom as a simple water person and rose to the very top to become the CEO of SimGreen Corp. You’ve been handed the keys to the kingdom and are free to do with them as you will. However, keep in mind that a ship is only as sturdy as its captain, so it’s your duty to keep it afloat for many years to come.

This is a base game compatible career as it uses only base game skills.
