Description
This is a set around the bougainvillea tree that I love very much for its bright colors and shape (the color is actually from the leaves and not the flowers as we may think !). Louis-Antoine de Bougainville was a french navy officer and an explorator who was the first french navigator to make the round-the-world trip around 1769. This plant was named after him by the botanist onboard after they discover the species in Brazil.
I have a special affection for this plant because it’s all around my grandmother’s house in Spain, so it brings me a lot of good memories from my childhood 😊
The doors and windows were originally part of a gift set for the Palestinian cause for @Raventons who was collecting humanitarian aid for Gaza (and inspired by local architecture !). After being a bit overwhelmed by the whole operation, she decided to ask people to donate directly to local organization and cancelled this second set, so here it is ! If you wanna help, you can donate to the Red Crescent organization or Unicef. I personnally donated to the french Doctors of the World. ❤
