The Sims 4 MOD: Balanced Death Moodlets<\/h2>\n

\nRecently my sims have been getting notifications that sims they barely know have died. Unfortunately, this means if your sim is popular, they’re in an almost perpetual state of mourning. The default state of the game is to give sims a sad moodlet for 2 days. Sims will be sadder when their pet dies than when a child or spouse dies. In short the 24 scenarios that can happen all have almost the same outcome which doesn’t make any sense.<\/p>\n

This mod balances out the buffs sims receive when someone they know dies to reflect their relationship. If they are only acquaintances with the deceased they will get a fine moodlet for a few hours, but if it’s their spouse that passes they will be devastated for days! If your sim dislikes anyone, even family, good riddance! They’ll get a happy moodlet instead. Immediate family moodlets will be stronger and last longer, so a sim will be slightly sadder for a longer time if their brother dies as opposed to an uncle.<\/p>\n

This mod will conflict with other mods that change sims death reactions when they die off lot. For now it will NOT conflict with scumbumbo’s Improved Death Reactions V3<\/a><\/u> (although that mod is out of date and not functioning at 100%). In the very near future I’ll be incorporating that mod into this one.<\/p>\n
