Introduction<\/b>
\nHi! Thanks for looking at my mod. I’m new to the scene but I’m loving what I can accomplish so far. If you have any suggestions please let me know! This is designed to be a more specialised version of my spoonie trait.<\/p>\n

What is fibromyalgia<\/b>
\nFibromyalgia<\/a> is a chronic condition that causes widespread pain across the body, along with a whole host of other symptoms including IBS<\/a> and extreme fatigue.<\/p>\n

Buffs<\/b><\/p>\n

\n<\/p>\n

  • Exercise helps!<\/b>
    \nOccurs during exercise, +6 energized. This is because the main treatment for fibromyalgia is exercise.<\/li>\n
  • Self Care Rules!<\/b>
    \nOccurs when a Sim has a massage, a bath, a massage, a nap, uses the hot tub or uses the wellness skill. Self-care is incredibly important when suffering from fibromyalgia.<\/li>\n
  • Feeling Sensitive<\/b>
    \n30% chance to appear if your Sim is not asleep or energized. Lasts for 20 hours and gives +1 uncomfortable. Can’t appear if Sim is asleep, energized or already uncomfortable. This is because some fibromyalgia sufferers can have days where their body is extremely sensitive and everything is painful.<\/li>\n
  • Fibro Fog<\/b>
    \n30% chance of appearing, gives +8 dazed and lasts for 10 hours. Fibro fog (brain fog) is something extremely common for fibromyalgia sufferers, it makes it extremely difficult to think and do anything while suffering from it.<\/li>\n
  • Ouch! That Hurts!<\/b>
    \n10% chance of appearing, gives +6 uncomfortable and lasts for 20 hours. Can’t appear if Sim is asleep or energized.<\/li>\n
  • Why Me?<\/b>
    \n30% chance of appearing, gives +2 sad and lasts for 4 hours. Can’t appear if your sim is uncomfortable or asleep.<\/li>\n
  • Stuck Between a Rock And a Hard Place<\/b>
    \n50% chance of appearing, gives +4 tense and lasts for 4 hours. Can’t appear if your sim is asleep. Many fibromyalgia sufferers can feel stressed about their situation, and your sim is no exception.<\/li>\n
  • Stop Pitying Me!<\/b>
    \n10% chance of appearing if your Sim’s social need is higher than 71. +2 angry, lasts for 4 hours.<\/li>\n
  • Misunderstood<\/b>
    \n10% chance of appearing, gives +2 angry and lasts for 4 hours. Can’t appear if your Sim is asleep.<\/li>\n
  • Aching Head…<\/b>
    \n5% chance of appearing, gives +2 uncomfortable and lasts for 12 hours. Can’t appear if your Sim is asleep.<\/li>\n
  • A Poopy Situation<\/b>
    \n10% chance of appearing, gives +3 uncomfortable and lasts for 10 hours. Can’t appear if your Sim is asleep.<\/li>\n
  • Feeling Stiff<\/b>
    \n30% chance of appearing, gives +4 uncomfortable and lasts for 4 hours.<\/li>\n
  • So Many Medications…<\/b>
    \n5% chance of appearing, gives +2 sad and lasts for 4 hours. Can’t appear if your Sim is asleep. Fibromyalgia sufferers tend to take a lot of medications to deal with their illnesses. Sometimes this can make them sad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    <\/span><\/p>\n

    Autonomy<\/b>
    \nAutonomy is uncomfortable and lazy. This means they autonomously take naps. There is a 2x autonomy modifier so that Sims sleep more often, but I’m unsure if it truly works.<\/p>\n

    • Do a Dance Workout<\/li>\n
    • Do Push-Ups!<\/li>\n
    • Rant and Rave to Someone<\/li>\n
    • Relax in a Sauna<\/li>\n
    • Share Insecurities<\/li>\n
    • Share Insecurities with Someone<\/li>\n
    • Sleep it Off<\/li>\n
    • Take a Nap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      <\/span><\/p>\n

      Needs<\/b>
      \nEnergy decays 2.5x faster, this is because many fibromyalgia sufferers have chronic fatigue as well.
      \nBladder decays 2x faster, this is because many fibromyalgia sufferers have IBS.<\/p>\n

      Relationships<\/b>
      \nRelationships, both romantic and physical decrease 1.5x faster. This is because it can be extremely difficult to make friends if you are constantly having bad pain days.<\/p>\n

      Skill<\/b>
      \nSims with Fibromyalgia have an athletic skill modifier of -2. For example, if they are level 3 fitness, they will act as if they are level 1. Fitness skill also increases at half the rate it usually would, as it can be extremely difficult for people with fibromyalgia to exercise even though it’s good for us.<\/p>\n

      \nEven though I myself suffer from fibromyalgia, this mod may not be accurate to your daily life if you also suffer from fibromyalgia. Everyone suffers differently, and if you’d like me to add something let me know!<\/p>\n
