Not only do we offer delicious food and beverages (prepared by our clever, capable, and highly-trained staff), we also have delightful music, full video surveillance, our own internal power and water sources, and we even have beds available if your home has been destroyed and you need somewhere to stay overnight (or longer)!

The Cafe Refuge, and my other underground projects, are inspired by the Fallout games. I went with a mostly white/gray color scheme so that customers and staff, and a few of the decorations, would stand out.
There are two rooms with six beds and six nightstands apiece. Nothing is especially comfy or attractive– especially the presence of surveillance cameras.
The restrooms have showers, which may make embarrassing situations for Sims whose bladder bar is in the red.
There are two serving stations, and plenty of room to sit and chat. Sims seem to pick a single table and settle down next to each other.
Finally, the Hidden Room is just that: a room inaccessible by Sims. The cafe’s original owner stashed valuable items there in case of an emergency. He got into a fight (the last of many) with his partner and in a fit of pique, sold the cafe to another buyer, and moved to another country. But before doing that, he had the entrance to the room sealed off. His partner has no knowledge of the Hidden Room, and obviously neither does the current owner… and so the Hidden Room is likely to stay hidden for quite some time.
