My game may have glitched and I tried a couple things to make this work but it’s a bit weird. My sim can go through the door and it does function, but it doesn’t remove the wall. It isn’t a hole in the wall so you can enter the room and see the door, it I more like I put a door frame in and then my sim goes through the wall like a ghost.
